At this workshop for educators, we shall use the book by Cardinal Dulles entitled, “The Splendor of Faith” in order to achieve an overview of the thought of Saint . It will meet 9am-330pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am -1130am Friday the 13th.

The themes to be covered include:

Steven J. Meyer holds a Sacred Theological Doctorate (S.T.D.) in Dogmatic Theology from the Pontifical University of St. in Rome, Italy. His dissertation is titled “The Theology of Faith in the Writings of Avery Dulles.” He has a Sacred Theological Licentiate (S.T.L.) from the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC. He also has a Master and Bachelor of Arts in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is an alumnus of St. Thomas High School in Houston, TX where he taught for fourteen years in the department of theology. Dr. Meyer currently serves as an assistant professor in theology for the University of St. Thomas School of Theology at St. Mary’s Seminary.

We ask for a donation of $100 to offset the cost of food and materials, but no educator will be turned away who wants to study Saint John Paul II’s theology.
